We have at least 10 major types of Dile Que No. Many of these figures have substantial variations. Take the most common DQN as example. The Leader can lead the Follow into Open Position, or the Lead can make the Follow continue forward on 7-1, leading her around him, back inside in front of him, or back outside in front of him or into a Paseo Walk.
The most important are Dile Que No, Dile Que No Mentira, Paseo Dile Que No, Cross Body Lead. A Paseo Walk, where the Lead turns on 1-2 and steps back on 3-5 making the Follow pass him, is very similar to Cross Body Lead.
